.Net Software Engineer / IT Software Developer (Software Engineering)

Job Responsibilities

In this .Net Software Engineer position, you will be responsible for the analysis of IT software requirements, formulating application designs, ensuring continuity between the companies’ technology systems, participating in code reviews, and consulting with IT staff to evaluate the operational and performance requirements of the applications and systems.

Other responsibilities of the Software Engineer role include:

• Contributing to systems architecture analysis, performing development and enhancement to new and existing applications, and working as a team member throughout the Application Life Cycle Process on major projects
• Providing technical input to risk analysis and change control, and contributing to business area assessment, user needs analysis, and business systems design
• Developing across all layers of applications using the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, MVC, WCF, Web Services, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Integrating with, modifying, and supporting legacy VB .NET applications
• Deploying IT systems to various pre-production and production environments and troubleshoot related issues
• Working with business users and project managers to understand inefficiencies in existing business applications and recommend solutions
• Regularly communicating project progress, issues, and risks to team leader or project manager
• Utilizing Test-First techniques to create and execute unit tests to ensure requirements are met and coding standards and guidelines are followed
• Participating in Code and Peer Reviews; reviewing others’ code and having own code reviewed while completing all code in a timely and quality manner

As an IT software engineer, you must possess strong design and development skills, with specific skills with applying GoF and Enterprise Application design patterns and Service-Oriented Architecture, a plus. Someone with a strong understanding of the Windows and .NET platforms at a systems level and a deep understanding of .NET memory management and multithreading would be a good fit for this dynamic Software Engineering role.

Other requirements of the .Net Software Engineer role include:

• Bachelor's degree in a related IT field; master’s degree (or equivalent work experience) and MCPD and MCTS certifications, preferred
• 5 + years of experience with proven knowledge in C#, ASP.NET, Web services, Entity Framework, Visual Studio, VB.NET, HTML 5, and JavaScript, including Angular JS and jQuery, experience with XML, Transact-SQL, and CSS3, preferred
• Strong debugging, maintenance, troubleshooting, and refactoring skills, with the ability to identify bottlenecks, potential problems in multi-process, and multi-threaded code
• Commitment to provide superb service to all clients internal and external
• Ability to perform task estimation and risk assessment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Creative and able to think outside the box
• Strong verbal and written communications skills

Java Developer (IT Software Engineer / IT Engineering)

Job Responsibilities

In this Java Developer position, you will develop, create, and modify computer application software or specialized utility programs. You will analyze user needs and develop software solutions.

Additional responsibilities of the Java Developer include:

• Modifying existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
• Developing and directing system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation
• Analyzing user needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

Job Requirements

As a Java Developer, you must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, fluid work environment, be self-managed and highly motivated, as well as very organized and detail-oriented.

Other requirements of the Java Developer role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in related IT field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of technical experience with at least one project in Telecom domain
• Experience with Spring Framework, Weblogic, C Programming
• Strong XML and XSLT, Active Directory and LDAP, UML, and/or Rational XDE experience

Required skills include:

UX Designer (IT Software Developer / Web Applications)

Job Requirements

As a UX Designer, you must have a strong understanding of creative design and experience incorporating into web sites, proposals, HTML emails, mobile web and apps, along with strong problem solving skills. Someone who can work on both PC and MAC operating systems as well as experience with various browsers and mobile platforms would be a good fit for this software developer role.
